...el especial de navidad...

Estando acá en Europa, me doy cuenta de las diferentes costumbres decembrinas-nuevoañeras que hay.

Por ejemplo, en Italia el 6 de enero, es del dia que viene La Befana, una mujer fea, de pelo blanco, con ropas viejas, ella es la que deja los dulces en los calcetines de los niños que se portan bien.

En Alemania, se acostumbra cantar villancicos, tomar vino, cenar temprano, ir a misa, y después de ls abrazaos, ir a dormir.

En muchos paises cómo Francia, por ejemplo, es Papá de la Navidad. En algunos otros lugares es Papá Noel (no muy distante de cómo nosotros lo conocemos). Pocos acá llaman a Santa, Santa Claus (buhh!)

Pero la MÁS RARA que he escuchado por estos rumbos, es la tradición navideña en Catalunya. Se pone un tronco (llamado Tio Nadal) dentro de casa, tapado con un mantón rojo, el cual debe ser alimentado durante unas semanas antes. Los niños lo riegan, le llevan comida, entre más comida le des durante éste tiempo es mejor, porque se supone que el tronco CAGA LOS REGALOS DE NAVIDAD!... sisisi, por ende, entre más lo alimentes, más regalos te da... porque obviamente, se ve en la necesidad de cagar más. Y en el caso de que el arbol no cagara ningun regalo, te agarras al tronco a palazos.

freaky? no... yo diría... muy catalán.

Y ahora, mi gran repertorio de palabras que se en catalán: mes (más), edifici (edificio), sabs (sabes), nadal (navidad). Que genial soy! no?

Bélgica (Brusellas y Brujas), Iglaterra (Londres), Italia (Florencia, Pisa, Venecia, Verona y Milán) y Francia (Paris) allá voy.
